GCH Asgard's Constant Craving "Ruby"
GSDC of Southern Arizona --- Feburary 25, 2012 --- Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, Best of Breed
"This 21 month old black and red bitch got under my skin from the moment she entered HER ring. She is confident, strong willed, and she never stops working! My first impression of her was one of STRENGTH. Our standard calls for our breed to be strong, over and over again. Not just strong/confident in mind, but in structure and muscle development too. When I approached her on the loose lead temperament test she calmly watched me and she didn't budge. Her size is ideal - I'd guess it to be 23-23 1/2 " at the wither. She is feminine with an appealing head and beautiful expression. Those features, combined with a subtle arrogance she transmits, offer the beholder an unquestionable look of NOBILITY. She is only moderately angled at both ends, but she is curvy nonetheless. Her back is strong, her ribbing ideal and her underline exactly as the standard requires. I'd prefer a slightly longer croup and a tighter, more arched foot. Her balanced front and rear angulation and her strong, well angled pasterns resulted in a n efficient, effortless and SUSPENDED side gait. She is clean coming and going and every time she stopped, she struck this CONFIDENT "I'm-what-Max-envisioned" pose. Her temperament and presence makes me so proud to belong to the German Shepherd Dog!
This bitch was shown by a young, very talented Junior Handler named Summer. Welcome to our amazing breed Summer and congratulations on your great day in Tucson."
